National Park Trust and OEC Partnership Continues To Make a Positive Impact

The National Park Trust will be funding a 3-day environmental education program for The Black Student Fund March 25th-27th at FLOC’s Outdoor Education Center.  This program was made possible because of a Youth to Parks National Scholarship Fund that will provide an opportunity to 10 members of the Black Student Fund—an organization that provides support services to Pre-K to 12th grade African American students.

The 3-day program at the OEC will consist of a stream study by canoe on the Shenandoah River, renewable energy demonstration activities and a cultural history scavenger hunt using GPS at Harpers Ferry National Historical Park.  For more information about NPT, visit www.parktrust.org.
